Every Varsity View Falcon Softball registration includes:

Our Learn to Play (LTP) program is designed specifically for 4-5-year-olds who are brand new to softball. This program focuses on fun, movement, and introducing kids to the basic skills of the sport in a positive and age-appropriate way.
LTP emphasizes:
Basic throwing & catching
Safe batting introduction
Running, movement, and body awareness
Listening skills, turn-taking, teamwork
Confidence-building through play
Coaches use simple, engaging games and activities to help young athletes begin developing coordination and a love for being active. There is no competition, no scores — just fun, learning, and getting comfortable with the basics of softball.

This program is designed to be low pressure, high fun, and a great first step into the world of softball.

The U9 program is designed for players aged 6-8 who are ready to begin learning the foundational skills of softball. At this level, athletes work on the basics of hitting, throwing, catching, fielding, base running, teamwork, and understanding simple game rules.
There are no pitchers or catchers in U9. Instead, players hit from either a coach-provided soft toss or a mechanical pitching machine (if available). This allows athletes to build confidence at the plate while focusing on proper batting mechanics.
The emphasis is on fun, skill development, teamwork, and building confidence in a supportive environment. Players will participate in practices and league games against other community clubs.

The U11 program is designed for players aged 9-10 who are ready to develop more refined skills and begin learning advanced aspects of the game. Athletes work on improving their mechanics in hitting, fielding, pitching, base running, and overall game strategy.
At this level, pitchers and catchers are introduced, allowing players to begin learning the fundamentals of these key positions. Soft toss rules are also in effect at U11 to support hitter development and maintain a consistent pace of play.
Teams will participate in scheduled CRSL league games throughout the season.
Tournaments may be available, and participation is decided by the coaches/team. Tournament fees are not included in registration and would be an additional cost if the team chooses to enter.
Players gain confidence through structured practices, gameplay experience, and a supportive team environment.

Tournament opportunities may be available, and participation is decided by the coaches/team. Tournament fees are not included in registration and would be an additional cost if the team chooses to enter.
This level focuses on stronger execution, increased confidence, and preparing players for more competitive softball.

The U15 program is designed for players aged 13-14 who are ready for a higher level of competition and more advanced skill development. Athletes refine position-specific mechanics, improve game strategy, and develop leadership and decision-making on the field.

The U17 program is designed for athletes aged 15-16 who are striving for advanced competition, including preparation for AA/AAA pathways, provincial play, or potential collegiate opportunities. Players work on advanced mechanics, consistency, situational strategy, and leadership on and off the field.
Teams participate in scheduled CRSL league games.
Tournament opportunities may be available, and participation is decided by the coaches/team. Tournament fees are not included in registration and would be additional if the team enters.
This level pushes athletes to refine performance, increase confidence, and compete at a higher standard.

The U19 program is designed for athletes aged 17-18 who are preparing for elite competition or future opportunities in adult leagues, provincial teams, or college softball. Players focus on advanced technical refinement, strategic awareness, and high-level competition.

This level emphasizes excellence, leadership, and readiness for the highest levels of youth softball.
