Varsity View Softball Team Formation Policy

“A” Falcon Formation

1. VVCC will hold evaluations at the U11 age level and up. Teams will be formed based on evaluation scores considering skill levels, and availability of pitchers and catchers.

2. Friend requests (maximum two) will be taken at all age levels. Requests must be mutual. All attempts will be made to honor except where pitchers/catchers are needed.

3. Team Formation at `A` will be completed after the evaluations. Teams will be equally balanced and formed based on registration numbers, available coaches, scores, available pitchers/catchers, and friend requests.

4. Evaluation scoring will evaluate all players on general skills involved in softball.

5. The only people allowed in the team formation meetings will be the WSWYSA Board members. Final team formations will be approved by the WSWYSA president.

6. Coaches will be notified once team formations are completed.
